AI happensin data centers

About Architect Digital

Data centers are being built in towns across America. Our mission is to build technology for the residents who bear the impact, not just the companies that profit from it.

The Rationale

Artificial intelligence has a physical footprint. Data centers require significant amounts of land, power, water and infrastructure, transforming communities across America. Architect Digital makes this expansion visible to the people who live with it: every tracked project on one map, what is known about each, and a verified, private way for residents to register where they stand.

Neutral By Design

Architect Digital is neutral by design. We do not favor developers, residents, advocacy groups or other special interests, and we remain agnostic as to whether a project is approved, rejected, revised or withdrawn. Our role is to exist alongside the process, not to influence its outcome.

Residents, businesses and community organizations may take part regardless of whether they support, oppose or have no stated position on a project. No participant is required to endorse a development, sign a petition or make a political statement.

To preserve this neutrality, individuals with formal authority to approve, reject, condition or materially influence a project do not take part as community members. Companies and professionals with a direct financial role in a project may participate only through the separate, publicly disclosed company-participation framework. These distinctions are intended to keep the platform from being used to influence a decision-maker.

Architect Digital is open to residents, developers, utilities, contractors, lenders, professional advisers and community institutions. We exist as a shared resource, applying the same published rules and verification standards to every participant.

The Team

Architect Digital is led by an experienced team that brings together experience in real estate development, architecture, blockchain networks, capital markets and operations.

About Architect Digital

Architect Digital is part of the Interstice Digital product family and was created by Everyrealm Inc., a technology company working at the intersection of communities, blockchain and real estate since 2021.

Everyrealm began as a division of Republic, the global private-markets and digital-assets platform founded in 2016. Republic's businesses span online capital formation, venture investing, regulated broker-dealer services, tokenization and Web3 infrastructure. Its ecosystem operates regulated entities across the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe, has facilitated more than $3 billion in transactions and has supported more than 1,000 companies.

Everyrealm is backed by investors including a16z, Coinbase Ventures and Galaxy Digital. Today, it works across chains, protocols and platforms and has deployed capital across more than 40 crypto and community-driven projects.

Architect Digital draws on that experience to apply blockchain technology to one of the most consequential real-estate and infrastructure shifts of this generation.

Where We Stand

Architect Digital is a for-profit company backed by Silicon Valley venture capital. We’re telling you that because you should know who is behind this project. Venture capital funds new American businesses in almost every industry, from consumer products to software to medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Much of that money comes from public pension funds that manage retirement savings for teachers, firefighters, and other public employees. You should know that, too.

Are we funded by data center operators? We are not.

Do we think the communities hosting data centers deserve a real say in what they get in return? Yes, we do.

How will that work? We’re still building it, and we’ll show our work as we go.

We’re building this for the people who live near proposed data centers, to give them a new way to organize and a seat at the table. If we get it right, we may build an entirely new economic model for what’s happening in the world today.

Some economists call what’s coming the “economic singularity”: the point where AI changes how our entire economy works. We are seeing it first with data centers. Each one begins in a real town with real neighbors, and many of them feel left out of decisions that will change where they live. This is only the beginning.

We believe this moment calls for a new kind of solution, and that’s what we’re building.

We take no position on whether any data center gets built. That decision belongs to the community and its local process. Our job is to make sure that process includes the people it affects.

We also believe America works better when we all come together. There is a way. But it’s probably going to look a lot different than anybody expects.
